To stop and restart a specific service

Stop # kill -KILL `cat /var/run/ PROCESS .pid`
Restart
# kill -HUP `cat /var/run/ PROCESS .pid`
Check the process ID or the ID specified in the process.
Stop
# ps -aux | grep named
# kill -KILL PID
# ps -aux | grep named
# kill -HUP PID
